Special meeting of joint district to act regarding alteration or dissolution

§ 1516. Special meeting of joint district to act regarding alteration
or dissolution. 1. If a district superintendent, by notice in writing,
shall require the attendance of the other district superintendents, at a
joint meeting for the purpose of altering or dissolving a joint
district, and a majority of all the superintendents shall refuse or
neglect to attend, such superintendents attending, or any one of them,
may call a special meeting of such school district for the purpose of
deciding whether such district shall be altered or dissolved.
2. If such special meeting shall vote to alter or dissolve the
district, the district superintendent or superintendents who called such
meeting may make an order altering or dissolving the district and shall
recite in such order the refusal or neglect of the other district
superintendents, his call of the special meeting and the action taken at
such meeting.
