§ 2009. Judge before whom defendant arraigned or tried.
An accused person need not be arraigned or tried before the judge
signing or issuing the summons or warrant, but may be arraigned or tried
before any judge of the court; provided, however, that whenever trial
has been commenced, it shall be continued and concluded by and before
the same judge before whom it was commenced, except as hereinbefore
provided.
