Little Supports New State Agriculture Commissioner -- Senator Betty Little is pictured with Patrick Hooker, New York State's 26th Agriculture Commissioner. Little enthusiastically supported Hooker's confirmation, noting his extensive agricultural background, which includes working for the New York Farm Bureau for 16 years and serving as the Director of the New York State Senate Agriculture Committee. Growing up, Hooker worked on a dairy farm, was active in the Junior Holstein Club and served as State Future Farmers of America President in 1979. Hooker graduated from Morrisville State College and Cornell University, where he studied agriculture.
