Senator Savino Welcomes Circus to Coney Island

Senator Savino joined local officials, including Borough President Marty Markowitz and Councilmember Domenic Recchia Jr., as well school children from P.S. 288, in welcoming Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus’s Boom A Ring.

Acts will include the Urias family, known as The First Family of the Motorcycle Globe, The Negrey Troupe, a world−renowned troupe of Russian acrobats, “Eccentric Personality Extraordinaire” Justin Case, Vincenta Pages and her seven white Bengal tigers and a trio of Asian elephants.

During the ceremony, Millie the Asian elephant was introduced to the crowd.
