Fall Community Health and Wellness Expo A Success

On Sunday September 28th Senator Padavan hosted his Fall Community Health and Wellness Expo at Mary’s Nativity Parish Center in Flushing. Throughout the morning and early afternoon, families and seniors were able to access free health services, screenings and information related to their health and wellness. Free services included testing for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, body fat analysis and dental screenings. Community health care and wellness experts were also had the most-up-date information regarding weight and stress management. A clown and special guest Elmo were on-hand to entertain local children with balloon animals and face painting. Special Guest Elmo joins with Senator Padavan and the Sokosa Family from Bayside during Senator Padavan’s Fall Community Health and Wellness Expo on Sunday September 28th, 2008 at Mary’s Nativity Parish Center in Flushing.
