Padavan Attends Opening Of New Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church In Whitestone

New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) attended the grand opening of the new Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Whitestone on Sunday December 13, 2009.  The opening of the Byzantine style church marked the culmination of years of preparation and hard work.  The monumental event was attended by congregations of the church, local leaders and His Eminence Archbishop  Demetrios of America.
