Padavan Honored by American Legion

On Thursday February 5, 2009, New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) was honored by the American Legion for his outstanding service to American veterans. The award was presented to Senator Padavan by Dennis J. Dubin of Brooklyn. Senator Padavan, a retired colonel and 30-year veteran of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, has been honored by numerous veterans’ organizations over the years for his work in the State Senate on veterans and community issues.
