Padavan Honors Francis Lewis High School Drill Team

New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) honored the JROTC Drill Team from Francis Lewis High School during a ceremony on Thursday evening May 28, 2009. The cadets finished in first place at the 27th Annual National High School Drill Team Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida. The team bested over 135 teams from across the country during the five day competition. The event is the most renowned and prestigious drill and ceremony competition in the world for high school JROTC drill programsFrancis Lewis High School Principal M.
