Padavan Presents Awards at Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Arts adn Essay Contest

New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) was on hand to help present the awards to the winners of the annual Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade Organization Art and Essay Contest. The ceremony took place on Friday evening, May 15th at The Ernie Pyle U.S.A.R Center at Fort Totten.  This year themes ranged from Our County in the art portion to Preserving Our Nation in the essay portion of the contest.  Senator Padavan and Master Sgt. Chet Marcus with Jae Eun Kim, grand prize winner of the art portion of the Little Neck-Douglaston Art and Essay contest.
