Padavan Presents Awards at Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Art and Essay Contest

New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) was on hand to help present the awards to the winners of the annual Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade Organization Art and Essay Contest. The ceremony took place on Friday evening, May 15th at The Ernie Pyle U.S.A.R Center at Fort Totten.  This year themes ranged from Our County in the art portion to Preserving Our Nation in the essay portion of the contest.  Various levels of awards were granted to area student from kindergarten through ninth grade. Senator Padavan with all award winners from the Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade Organization Art and Essay Contest.
