Senate Majority Leader Malcolm A. Smith shook GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt's hand as he took part in the announcement of a $15 Million public-private partnership between Empire State Development (ESD), New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and General Electric (GE’s).
