Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz is officially sworn in to his seat as Member of the New York State Senate by Senior Associate Judge of the Court of Appeals, The Hon. Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick, while joined by assemblyman Ruben Diaz Jr,. and Assemblyman and Bronx County Chairman Carl Heastie. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 in the NYS senate Chambers.
