Senator Duane visited with members and supporters of Marriage Equality NY as they held a rally on the steps of Farley Post Office in New York City on April 15th, Tax Day, to protest the LGBT community's denial of rights because of the lack of marriage equality in New York State.
The rally, co-sponsored by the Civil Rights Front and the Empire State Pride Agenda, called attention to the 1138 rights denied to members of the LGBT population by not allowing them to marry.
