Sen. Stavisky always enjoys meeting with students and today, Friday, March 7th she met with representatives of Queens Student Association and the New York Public Interest Research Group. They discussed the need for CUNY to remain accessible and affordable. Specifically, tuition should not be increased, the percentage of full-time faculty should be increased, cuts to opportunity programs should be restored, and the Fitzgerald Gym, built more than 50 years ago, needs renovation.
