Senator Foley and US Senator Gillibrand Help Kick Off North Bellport Farmers Market

Senator Foley and US Senator Gillibrand recently helped to celebrate the opening of a farmers market in North Bellport that was organized through a joint effort by Sustainable Long Island and the Long Island Farm Bureau.  The goals of the market, which will be staffed by high school students from the local community, are to provide fresh, healthy food options for residents, to increase awareness about nutrition and to help the students acquire business skills.
