Padavan Celebrates National Estuaries Day At APEC's Little Neck Bay Festival

New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) joined with environmental enthusiasts, local families, area school children and Alley Pond Environmental Center (APEC) representatives to celebrate the Little Neck Bay Festival during National Estuaries Day at APEC on Saturday afternoon September 25, 2010. The day-long event highlighted the environmental conservation efforts taking place on Little Neck Bay. The festival featured exhibits, speakers, games and arts and crafts for children who attended. Senator Frank Padavan speaks to children from PS 94 just outside the Padavan Pavilion at APEC about the local environment during a ceremony marking National Estuaries Day.
