Padavan Helps Kickoff NEQJCC Food Drive

New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) helped kick off the 7th Annual Harmony initiative “Pre-Passover Food Drive” sponsored by the Northeast Queens Jewish Community Council (NEQJCC), UJA-Federation of New York, Parker Jewish Institute for Health, Samuel Field Y and the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty. The kickoff event took place on Sunday March 7th at the Samuel Field Y in Little Neck. The food drive will take until March 26 and donation of unopened non-perishable foods will be collected at the Samuel Field Y. The NEQJCC is an association of synagogues and other religious, fraternal and community organizations that focuses on neighborhood development and social interaction within the community.
