Padavan Honored For Commitment and Dedication To The Entire Whitestone Community

New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) joined with Councilman Dan Halloran, the Greater Whitestone Taxpayers’ Civic Association, the Knights of Columbus and the North Queens United Group to host the first annual Whitestone Family Appreciation Day at Francis Lewis Park on Saturday June 26. The event featured an afternoon full of programs, games and activities for children and their families. Money raised from raffles and other donations will benefit the Whitestone Veteran’s Memorial Day Association. During the event, the Padavan was honored by the Greater Whitestone Taxpayers’ Association and Whitestone Veteran’s Association on behalf of the entire Whitestone community for his military service and dedication and devoted service to the Whitestone community. Senator Padavan is presented with a plaque by Peter Zuccarello with Councilman Dan Halloran during Whitestone Family Appreciation Day.
