Padavan Joins With HS Students at Relay For Life Event

On Saturday afternoon, June 5, New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) joined with local high school students and residents at the Relay for Life event at Cunningham Park.  Established by the American Cancer Society the event raises funds and increases awareness in the fight against cancer. Throughout the day teams compete to raise money for cancer research and education by walking around the park oval.  Senator Padavan with students from St. Francis Prep during the Relay for Life event at Cunningham Park on Saturday afternoon June 5, 2010.
