On Wednesday August 11, New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) read to local children at the Queens Hospital Center in Jamaica as a part of the Reach Out and Read Program. The program helps prepare children to read in the earliest ages of their development (ages 6 months to 5 years) and foster educational skills throughout their lives. Senator Padavan reads “If You Give A Mouse A Cookie” to local children during a visit to Queen Hospital Center.
