Padavan Welcomes Troops Home at Freedom Salute

New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) joined with family, friends and fellow veteran’s to welcome home troops from the 27th Financial Management Detachment at “Freedom Salute” ceremony at the Whitestone Armory on Saturday January 10, 2009. Padavan personally greeted the nearly two dozen soliders following their successful deployment and dedicated service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Padavan, a retired colonel and 30-year veteran of the United State Army Corp of Engineers was the guest speaker for the ceremony.  Senator Padavan with soldiers from the 27th Financial Detachment Management Company during the “Freedom Salute” at the Whitestone Armory on January 10, 2009.
