Senator George Maziarz is joined by county leaders as the Niagara County Refuse Disposal District's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Site in Niagara Falls is officially opened on Saturday. From left, Sen. Maziarz, Legislator John Ceretto, Legislator Vince Sandonato, and Rick Pope, director of the Niagara County Refuse Disposal District. The disposal site is one of three around the county. Residents will be able to bring household chemicals, paint, stains solvents, and cleaning products to the site for disposal by appointment. Residents can obtain appointments by calling the Refuse District at (716) 434-6568.
