Senator Robach, on Thursday, July 8, helped break ground on the new Rochester Educational Opportunity Center, located at 161 Chestnut Street in downtown Rochester. REOC provides career training and college-readiness courses to 1,500 local residents each year. Affiliated with the State University College at Brockport, the center is one of 10 such programs in the SUNY system. The building is expected to be ready for use by late 2011.
