Smoke, Flames, and Courage 2010 This Weekend

On Saturday and Sunday, August 28th and 29th, Charlotte will host Smoke, Flames, and Courage 2010, an expo of firefighting past and present. Smoke, Flames, and Courage takes place each day from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Port of Rochester and Ontario Beach Park. Free events include: hall of firefighting history, displays of moden and antique fire apparatus, hand pumping, bucket brigades and steam fire engine with horses, rescue simulations, rescue boats, fire safety exhibits, fire memorabilia flea market, band concerts, children's activities, explorer efficiency competitions, and family safety awareness.
