SENATOR LAVALLE AND ASSEMBLYMAN ALESSI HONOR LONGWOOD HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY CHEERLEADERS

Senator Kenneth P. LaValle and Assemblyman Marc Alessi recently presented a New York State Resolution to the Longwood High School Varsity Cheerleading Team in recognition of the team taking the National Championship title and the Grand National Championship title at the World Cheerleading Association’s 25^th Annual National Competition in Nashville, Tenn.

“These young women have shown exceptional teamwork and discipline in a highly competitive sport,” Assemblyman Alessi said. “It is my great pleasure to present this team with a resolution honoring their hard work and dedication.  Congratulations, Lions!”

 “The Longwood Varsity Cheerleaders have set a record by taking both National and Grand National titles,” said Senator LaValle.  “This achievement speaks to their hard work, commitment, and determination to succeed.  I wish the team and their coach continued success in the years to come.”
