Senator Nozzolio Honors Lyons West Point Cadet

ALBANY- State Senator Mike Nozzolio congratulates West Point Cadet Daniel Chang of Lyons for his successful academic and military training career during a recent event honoring West Point at the State Capitol. Daniel graduated from Lyons High School in 2008 and is studying Computer Science as a member of the West Point Class of 2013. He is the son of Dr. Dong-Gi Hong and Mrs. Ae-Soon Hong of Lyons. 

Daniel has been awarded the Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and is active in the biathalon, Spirit Band and the Korean American Relations Seminar. Senator Nozzolio honored Daniel and his fellow New York West Point cadets with a special New York State Resolution he co-sponsored declaring April 28 to be “West Point Day” in New York State.
