Averill Park Girls Basketball Federation and State Champions

Albany – Senator Roy McDonald sponsored a Senate Resolution at the State Capitol today congratulating the Averill Park High School Girls Basketball Team for capturing both the New York State Public School Athletic Association Class A Championship and the New York State Federation Class A Championship.

 The Lady Warriors were ranked the State’s number one Class A girls team all season long, and under the leadership of Coach Sean Organ, they lived up to their reputation by finishing their season with a 26 – 1 record and earning the two prestigious State titles.
