2/18/2010: Black History Program at Grace Houses

On Thursday, February 18, 2010, Senator Shirley L. Huntley held a luncheon at Grace Houses with the seniors to honor Black History Month, and to reflect and focus on contributions made to the community and families that have shaped and upheld the community. Senator Huntley provided lunch for 35 seniors from the community and she discussed the importance of the Census for the senior population. Senator Huntley provided the seniors with Census bags that contained literature to familiarize themselves with the value and importance of the 2010 Census participation for the 10th Senatorial District
