While serving a total of 34-month in the Republic of Vietnam was awarded: Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star "V" for Valor, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam, Campaign Medal w/2-Bronze Stars, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm, and graduated from "MACV RECONDO SCHOOL" 5th Special Forces. (NaJeffgottrang Vietnam) Also was a DRILL INSTRUCTOR at Fort Dix New, Jersey and has been awarded the National Defense Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
Life Member in: Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Vietnam Veterans of America.
