March 2010: Senator Montgomery (seated, center) joins with her legislative colleagues to announce the First Annual Minority Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) Awareness Day. To commemorate the event, more than 300 MWBEs came to the Capital City to discuss their business enterprises and press for legislative reforms that increase their access to the state contracts.
