Senator Stachowski Celebrates All Things
Polish On Dyngus Day
Senator William Stachowski celebrated his, and everybody else’s Polish ancestry Monday with a huge Dyngus Day celebration on the city's far East Side.
Senator Stachowski, fresh off the UB 2020 announcement at St John Baptist Church, visited Corpus Christi Church, the Hearthstone Manor, the Central Terminal, and marched in the Dyngus Day Parade.
The parade covered a large part of Broadway/Filmore area, on Sienkiewicz Place, passing by the Broadway Market, on Market Street, Fillmore Avenue and Memorial, where people lined all the streets wearing red and white, holding puss willow branches.
It was the fourth annual Dyngus Day Parade, and seems to grow longer and more colorful each year...
