Queensbury Youth & Government Students Visit State Capitol
Nine Queensbury high school students participated in the YMCA Youth & Government conference in Albany in mid-March. In preparation for the conference, the students drafted and submitted mock legislation that was debated and voted on during a mock session. The YMCA program, started in 1936, typically draws more than 600 students statewide. Pictured with the students is their advisor, Queensbury High School history and government teacher Dan Kane.
