On March 1st, State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I - Schenectady) met with Farm Bureau representatives in Albany to discuss how important agriculture is to New York State. Among the delegates were two Montgomery County Dairy Ambassadors. The Ambassadors are Danielle Bartlett of Broadalbin (immediate left of Senator in photo) and Erika Gogis of Pattersonville (immediate right of Senator in photo). Others that also discussed making New York State a farm friendly state with Senator Farley included: Lee Hallenbeck of Broadalbin, Lyle and Frances Brown of Schenectady, Stanley Korona of Amsterdam, Martin Kelly of Fort Plain, Jennifer and John Fidler of Delanson, Stan Horton of Glenville, Erika Marczak of Troy, Bill Hamilton of Lake Luzerne, Tom Nelson of Pattersonville, Elizabeth Friers of Fultonville, and Ken England of Ft. Johnson.
