Senator Jack M. Martins congratulated each of the students from The Wheatley School who were named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists and presented them with proclamations in recognition of their achievement. The students are: Liting Chiang, Ariel Fieldman, Remy Haber, Timothy Lee, William Schiela, Zohaib Shaikh, David Vakili and Tom Wang.
“This is a tremendous accomplishment that is indicative of the excellent education the students are receiving at The Wheatley School. I commend these outstanding young men and women for setting a great example for their classmates and community,” Senator Martins said.
