Senator Martins Congratulates New Town of North Hempstead Councilwoman-Elect

Senator Jack M. Martins recently congratulated Town of North Hemptead Councilwoman-elect Dina DiGiorgio of Port Washington. Dina was victorious during the November 8 election. She will be sworn in to serve the Town of North Hempstead's Sixth District in January. She has been active in a varity of organizations in the community include those in the elementary schools, Pride in Port and the Weber Social Committee as well as Port youth activities. Dina graduated from Fordham University School of Law and is a practicing attorney and co-founder of hte Long Island Mediation Group.
The Sixth District includes Baxter Estates, Flower Hill, Manhasset Isle, Manorhaven, Plandome Heights, Plandome Manor, Port Washington, Port Washington North and Sands Point.
"I want to congratulate Councilwoman-Elect DiGiorgio as well as all of those who ran in this past election. I look forward to working with them in the months ahead on behalf of the residents of our communities," said Senator Martins, who is chair of the Senate Standing Committee on Local Government.
