Senator Jack M. Martins recently visit Mineola High School, where he met with Paul Pereira's government class. The students had the opportunity to ask Senator Martins questions as he briefed them what is happening in Albany. Senator Martins and Mr. Pereira know each other well since both served together on the Mineola Village Board when Senator Martins was Mayor of Mineola. Mr. Pereira is currently the Deputy Mayor of the Village of Mineola in addition to being a history teacher at Mineola High School.
