December 20, 2011
On Tuesday, December 20th, Senator Robach had the privilege to take part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Earthlink's new location at Alexander Park, representing a $12 million investment over the next three years and the retention of nearly 450 local jobs. Alexander Park is just part of EarthLink’s overall investment and retention of jobs in the Western New York region, which includes the recent acquisitions of One Communications, LogicalSolutions, xDefenders and the closing today of EarthLink’s acquisition of Synergy Global’s IT Solutions Center. The company also announced that it will lease an additional 6,000 square feet at Alexander Park, the former Genesee Hospital site, from owner Buckingham Properties, increasing EarthLink’s total occupancy to more than 71,000 square feet.
