On Wednesday, November 9th, Hilton held its Veterans Day ceremony, which included the dedication of the Veterans Wall at Hilton Town Hall. Over 300 students from elementary and middle schools around Hilton attended this event. Also, U.S. Army Sgt. David Earl Lemcke of Hilton returned home. Veterans, emergency personnel, and members of the community welcomed home Lemcke more than 40 years after he was killed serving our Country. Calling hours will be held on Friday. Saturday, his funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. at First Bible Baptist Church on Manitou Road.
