Lauren Shields' Birthday a True Celebration

On Thursday, April 13th, in honor of National Donate Life Month, the New York State Senate was joined by 11-year-old heart transplant survivor Lauren Shields. Senator Robach was proud to support life saving legislation passed by the Senate today. Bill S.3885 would increase the number of eligible and willing organ donors by requiring driver's license applicants to specifically indicate their donation decision. Also, Senator Robach took part in a special birthday celebration for Lauren along with his Senate colleagues.
