Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, 22nd District), Congressman Michael Grimm (R-C, 13th District) and Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R-C, 60th District) were among those participating in the 5K Run to benefit the Semper Fi Fund on Saturday, May 21, 2011.
The 5K course ran along the scenic Narrows Promenade, along the Shore Road Bike Path, and an awards ceremony followed at Cannonball Park, 101st Street and 4th Avenue, immediately following the race.
The Injured Semper Fi Fund is a nonprofit set up to provide immediate financial support for injured and critically ill members of the United States Armed Forces and their families. For more information, please visit their website at www.semperfifund.org
