October 6, 2011
Seneca Falls - Ray Ciancaglini, a former Middleweight Boxer, recently presented Senator Mike Nozzolio with a special autographed boxing glove in appreciation of the Senator's efforts to enact legislation, S.3953-B, which establishes rules and regulations for the treatment and monitoring of students with mild traumatic brain injuries. Ray suffers from Dementia Pugilistica, also known as Boxer’s Syndrome, a neurological disorder which affects boxers and other athletes who suffer concussions from multiple blows to the head. Ray worked closely with Senator Nozzolio to get the legislation signed into law.
