Senator Catharine Young Cuts the Ribbon at the Grand Opening of the Limestone American Legion

When it began, the American Legion consisted of a small group of weary World War I veterans. Now, it is one of the largest, most influential non-profit groups in the United States with over 2.4 million members and 14,000 posts worldwide.
On Saturday, April 14, Senator Cathy Young (R,C,I – Olean) cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the Limestone American Legion Post, 941 N. Main Street, with Post Commander David Barger (right) and Vice Commander Jim Cochran, who worked hard to upgrade the Post.
Senator Young is an auxiliary member of the Hinsdale American Legion Post and works hard to address veterans’ needs.
