Senator Young was pleased to honor James Gallman for his years of service at an event this week in Allegany County. James Gallman served with the National Guard from 1966-1973, then later became an Allegany County Legislator and a Board of Elections Commissioner.
Senator Young presented him with a New York State Long and Faithful Service Ribbon and a framed companion certificate announcing the award signed by Maj. Gen. Murphy, the state Adjutant General. There was also a personal letter from the general to Lieutenant Gallman.
