Senator Young toured the Henrietta Campus of Bryant & Stratton College to learn about the educational programs provided by the College. The school in Rochester is one of eight in New York State with 18 total locations in New York, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. Bryant & Stratton’s Medical Assistant program is their largest followed by Criminal Justice.
Of particular interest was Bryant & Stratton’s "Jump Start" program, where the College partners with local BOCES to bring college credit courses to high school students. In Ellicottville, located in Senator Young’s district, Bryant & Stratton College offers a criminal justice course that gives students "transcriptable” credits upon completion.
