At the American Legion Post in Brocton on Friday, February 24, Senator Cathy Young (R,C,I - 57th District) presented Jean and Steve Milliman (right) and John Morehouse (left) with medals honoring their father Gunner's Mate, Second Class Lewis Morehouse for his service with the United States Navy during WWII. Petty Officer Morehouse's great-grandson, Brody Rowan (center) also attended the event. Petty Officer Morehouse received all his honors posthumously, including the World War II Victory Medal, a Combat Action Ribbon, an Honorable Service Lapel Pin, and the U.S. Navy Honorable Discharge Lapel Pin
