As we continue to recover from Hurricane Sandy, there are many opportunities to volunteer or donate around New York City.

NYC Service is offering a number of opportunities to volunteer and donate. Please email nycservice@cityhall.nyc.gov with your name, email address, and borough, or visit www.nycservice.org.

Register with New York Cares to volunteer with its disaster response efforts here.

The Red Cross is looking for volunteers and monetary donations. Click here or call 800-RED-CROSS to learn more, or text the word "RedCross" to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

City Harvest needs New Yorkers to volunteer, run food drives, and donate funds. Click here for more info.

The Food Bank for New York City is coordinating disaster relief efforts to help hard-hit areas across the city and is asking for donations, food drives, and volunteers.
