NYS Senators Eric Adams will join Senator Kevin Parker, Councilman Jumaane Williams and Middle Eastern community leaders to respond to the murders of store workers of apparent Middle Eastern ethnicity. The elected officials will call on the NYPD to implement an initiative to alert neighborhood employees that fit the description of the men who have been targeted in these cases.
Friday night’s incident in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn is the third homicide of shop keepers using the same .22-caliber weapon.
The group will also call for a tri-level task force that includes collaboration between the NYPD, State Police and FBI serial killer profile experts to assist in the apprehension of the perpetrator.
