Senator Martins Attends Kiwanis Day at Mineola's Wilson Park

Each year, members of County Seat Kiwanis visit Mineola's Wilson Park to treat the campers that attend the Mineola Summer Recreation Program to lunch. This summer was no exception. Members of County Seat Kiwanis - Ed Schutz, Lois Hanson, John Davanzo and Gabe Parajos. Ed and John manned the grill, cooking the hotdogs, and Senator Jack M. Martins joined Village of Mineola Deputy Mayor Paul Pereira and Lois in preparing the hot dog rolls. Gabe served the campers. It was a wonderful summer day for an exception program run by the village's recreation department, led by Marta DeSousa and Anna Athan.
