Senator Jack M. Martins recently brought his “Pizza and Politics” initiative to the St. Brigid Our Lady of Hope School in Westbury. “Pizza and Politics” is an initiative started by Senate Martins whereby the Senator visits schools in the Seventh Senate District, bringing pizza for lunch and discussing issues that are important to young people. At St. Brigid, Senator Martins and the members of the student council discussed state support of parochial schools.
