Senator Klein Hosts Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration!

On Saturday, October 13th, Senator Klein hosted his annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at Havana Cafe in the Bronx. At this year's event, themed Diversity United, Building America's Future Today, Senator Klein honored 45th Precinct Community Affairs Officer Miguel Caldero, NYC Department of Youth and Community Development Commissioner Jeanne Mullgrav, Morris Park Association Member Ostacia "Lefty" Negron, and Olympic Gymnast John Orozco. Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. deliverd an inspiring keynote address.
Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15th to October 15th, celebrates the history, culture, and contributions of American of Spanish, Mexican, Carribean and Central and South American descent.
